Furniture, Textiles & Interior Finishes.

Location: Gardens  - Cape Town

SALARY: R18 000 CTC Negotiable + Commissions & Benefits

Market sector: high-end architectural design, finishing fabrics, textiles, and High-End Decor. Specializing in exclusive products, directed for Architects, interior Designers, and discerning homeowners seeking sophisticated, high-quality fabrics and furnishings.

REQUIREMENTS:

• National Senior Certificate

• Certificate or Diploma in Interior Design/Decor or related field advantageous

• Minimum 3 years sales experience in retail in a similar role, same or related industry

• Exposure to an interior design environment

• Experience of coordinating the operational aspects of a shop or outlet is an advantage

• Own reliable transport

• Be assertive with drive and ambition

• Be decisive and able to prioritize

• Ability to cope in a high-paced and high-pressure environment

MAIN DUTIES:

·Maintain showroom operations by maintaining the set showroom standards, coordinating deliveries, manage stock of cuttings, sample hangers and books, coordinate events etc.

·Build productive relationships with customers by advising and selling to customers in the showroom and handling internal and external complaints and queries

·Support field sales by supporting the internal sales consultants.

SKILLS REQUIRED :

• Good telephone etiquette

• Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)

• Good presentation skills

• Good with building and maintaining customer relationships

• Excellent customer service and after-sales service

• Good at selling products and concepts·

• Well-presented and professional with good business etiquette
