Senior Sales Executive

Location: CBD, Cape Town

SALARY: R 28 000- R 30 000 CTC plus commission & Benefits

Market sector: leading supplier of refined, high-end premium jewelry, defined by elegance, serving both local and international markets

REQUIREMENTS:

To qualify for this luxury showroom role, candidates must meet the following official criteria:

• National Senior Certificate

• 3 to 5 years of jewellery retail experience (highly desired).

• 5 to 8 years of previous customer service management experience.

• Reliable personal transport to commute directly to and from the retail store.

• Strong written and verbal communication capabilities.

• Geographic location: Must currently reside in the Cape Town area, as this position is fully onsite.

• A sales-related tertiary qualification is considered an advantage.t

Key Duties & Responsibilities

The day-to-day operations and targets for the executive focus on client experiences excellence:

1. Client Engagement & Sales

• Greet, welcome, and actively engage with international and local customers entering the exclusive boutique.

• Deeply understand individual customer needs, preferences, and desires to recommend appropriate pieces.

• Showcase and present the brand's exquisite jewellery and diamond collections with high passion and expertise.

• Act as the professional, charming brand ambassador and "face" of the company.

• Meet and consistently exceed personal and store monthly sales targets.

2. Relationship Management

• Build long-lasting, strong relationships with esteemed private clients and collectors.

• Provide excellent, high-touch luxury customer service that leaves a lasting positive impression.

• Maintain regular correspondence and follow up on client profiles for repeat business.

3. Market & Product Knowledge

• Stay continuously updated on the latest global luxury industry trends, diamond valuations, and fine jewelry manufacturing.

• Memorize details regarding artistry, design cuts, and the specific history behind collections.

4. Team & Showroom Environment

• Contribute positively to a highly dynamic, professional, and fast-paced boutique environment.

• Assist team members where needed to maintain flawless showroom standards and seamless service.
