Position: Product Knowledge Coordinator

High-End Luxury Homeware/Furnishing

 Location: Bellville - Cape Town

Salary: R25 000 - R30 000 CTC Incl Benefits Neg (D.O.E)

A leading supplier of premium fabrics, rugs, wallpaper, and homeware for both the local and international markets is seeking a dynamic “Product Knowledge Coordinator” to support and strengthen their sales team. This role will drive product awareness, coordinate training initiatives, enhance presentation and selling skills, and ensure exceptional product knowledge across all categories, Increase the overall awareness.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' sales experience within retail or wholesale
  • Experience in the Interior Décor, Designer, Furnishings, Textiles, Fabrics, Wallpaper, Rugs, and Homeware industry
  • Previous training, coaching, or facilitation experience
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Matric essential; relevant tertiary qualification advantageous
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transport / National travel required
  • Must be available to work every second Saturday (09:00 – 14:00)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate national product training programs
  • Identify training needs and implement structured training plans
  • Facilitate workshops, webinars, product launches, and showroom training
  • Create engaging presentations, training materials, and product guides
  • Coach sales teams on product knowledge, presentation, and customer engagement
  • Coordinate product content for National Sales Meetings
  • Collaborate with buyers, marketing, and operational teams
